Cubes is a frantic action game for Android that sees you avoid cubes in no-man’s-land or meet a fiery death!

The idea behind Cubes is really simple. Your little droid automatically moves forward in a barren land. As you progress, cubes that form barriers and walls block your way, and you must try to avoid crashing into them at all costs. There’s only one way to avoid the cubes – by tilting your phone right and left. If you don’t react quickly, you’ll crash into a cube and explode into a ball of fire.

The free version of Cubes has 2 ships and 5 courses. You can toggle the music and effects on or off, but as far as configuration settings, that’s it. The more technically inclined among you can also design your own courses by following the instructions on the Cubes website.

Starting out, Cubes is frantic and fun, but doesn’t have much staying power.
